Sorry for the lack of bloging but I've been getting ready for my trip to Thailand. I'm moving out there for two years (for a work contract, not as a sex tourist!!) so I've been a bit busy.
Bit of information for anyone planning to work in Thailand - Getting the business visa is grief!!! You need a letter from your firm addressed to the embassy asking for the visa, your birth certificate, proof of your professional and academic qualifications, a completed application for a work permit from Thailand (in Thai), your passport, at least £40 for the fee and two ' business like ' passport photos (apparently they are really fussy on what the photos are like...!?!)
However, you HAVE to do all this and make sure you get the right type - otherwise you can end up having a stay in the Bangkok Hilton, which I don't particularly fancy!
Anyway, I've found a program for anyone who uses a Movable Type-based weblog like IceApple. Its called MTClient and the current version is 1.6.Its made by XREWare (hence the logo)

A couple of new sites...
Spurl.net - another bookmark lists site, but this one recommends links depending on the ones that you have uploaded to it - so far the ones it come up with for me have been quite good, like the one below... Like mybookmarks.com still in the beta stages really. One good thing though, you can have it as an opera panel if you like. Also...
Dropload.com - Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 4 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address
