A new MicroSoft PowerToy for laptops has been introduced, for fine tuning the ClearType settings. You can download the updated PowerToys install package but if you dont want to install the PowerToy, you can use the new style online version through IE here.

The WayBack Machine website holds archives of old websites which may have changed a lot over the years. It has an incredible archive, it even has my old website archived from 2002. It is also really good for finding copies of sites from free hosting services that have gone down or turned into subscription services
For anyone into computer games and consoles this is a must see site. Not so much of a review site, more just ripping the piss out of sad computer games, advertising and stereotype computer geeks

However, my favorite and most used is still NoNags

I have only tried this briefly but many of the links that I tried were on secure university servers (and there is no Gcache to check them in)
